Welcome to The Early-diverging Eudicotyledonous Genome Resource database

The Early-diverging Eudicotyledonous Genome Resource (EEGR) database provides comprehensive information for 18 plant genomes, including 15 Early-diverging Eudicotyledonous plants and 3 model plants (Amborella trichopoda, Arabidopsis thaliana, and Vitis vinifera). In the EEGR database, we have added our recently sequenced high quality chromosome level genome of the Stephania japonica (‘Qianjinteng’, 2n = 2× = 22). S. japonica is a member of the Menispermaceae family of Ranunculales, and belongs to a typical early-diverging eudicotyledons plant. It contains high levels of the medicinal ingredient cepharanthine, which is a promising candidate drug for COVID-19 treatment due to the remarkable efficiency against COVID-19 infection.

EEGR database offering the service of searching for gene sequences, gene annotations.syntenic genes, CRISPR guide sequences, m6A genes, orthologous and paralogous genes, transcription factors, and important functional genes. The Blast, Hmmsearch, JBrowse, Synteny, and Primer Design tools were developed for users. So EEGR database will facilitate the systematical analysis on Early-diverging Eudicotyledonous plants. In futher, EEGR will be updated and improved in time with new genome data released.
